Original Pirate Material - Contemporary Classics of Copyright-Infringing Cinema
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pirate Cinema (www.piratecinema.org) is a public space for projections, opened
in Berlin in 2004, that aims to make visible and promote certain contemporary
- mostly illegal - tendencies in, around and against cinema, most notably the
massively popular filesharing of digital movies over the internet and the new
forms of production and reproduction made possible by peer-to-peer networks.

Sebastian Lütgert (www.textz.com, www.partnergegenberlin.de) will be present to
introduce the concept of Pirate Cinema and show some of the most recent classics
of the emerging, increasingly interesting genre of "copyright-infringing films".

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
